Hunter was a true sports fan, but he wasn't just a fan of the teams he rooted for. He loved cheering on any team, he loved talking about sports and he loved playing.  

His football coach said of Hunter, “That passion that he had for sports, his friends, his family, it just rubs off on everyone around him.” Hunter’s Heart & Hustle Foundation is dedicated to keeping this spirit alive in our community.

Although we lost Hunter tragically in a car crash in February 2022, the central Pennsylvania community gave our family an amazing gift: the monetary support to start a non-profit in his name. We have dedicated these monies and our time to removing barriers for student-athletes like Hunter. Hunter’s Heart & Hustle Foundation is dedicated to leveling the playing field by giving other young athletes opportunities to participate in sports, despite their financial situation.
